Intarsia birds. Intarsia, a technique originating in 15th century Italy, is only recently enjoying a comeback in popularity. All colours and shades in the works are cut from different types of wood using no paints or stains. Each piece of the design is individually cut, shaped and sanded before final assembly.

Each bird above comes with its own card identifying the woods used. Size: Approximately 5 inches tall (stand included).

Hanging Ornaments

Size: Approximately 3.5 inches tall - Each ornament hangs on a thin loop of monofilament attached to the bird.
